It was held from 13 to 15 March at Stella Maris Retreat Centre, Penang. 33 HCF Full time
staff from SEA were blessed to attend the retreat without having to pay any
on-board charges. 14 full time staff were from Myanmar, 7 from Indonesia, 8 from
Philippines, 2 from Thailand and 2 full time staff from Malaysia
attended the retreat.
The theme of the retreat “Resting in the Lord”.
It was a a time to receive
from the Lord afresh, share challenges and pray with one another, be blessed with
the fellowship of fellow staff in the field as well as a brief holiday to rest
from their labour. Many testified that
they now knew what they should do when they go back to their home country. Many
have toiled very hard in the harvest field of the Lord, yet they need to learn
on how to rest that they may regain strength to move on in His work without
becoming a casualty.
The Lord had wonderfully provided for the retreat through the generous giving of our faithful HCF supporters.
